Sister Act is a Fun Un-CONVENT-ional Musical
You probably remember Whoopi Goldberg’s popular film Sister Act from 1992, an unlikely story about an aspiring singer who witnesses a murder and needs to be hidden until the trial — in a convent. Dallas Summer Musical has brought Sister Act: The Musical to the Music Hall at Fair Park until June 16, 2013, and I was honored to be invited by the DSM to enjoy the show. Aftershock London Plants Its Flag in Dallas
Yesterday, I went to The Plaza at Preston Center to pick up some last minute camp supplies for my daughter when I stumbled upon a new shop called Aftershock London. The U.K.-based clothing and accessories private label has chosen to open its first U.S. boutique in Dallas, and it’s full of pieces such as summer-appropriate linen tops and colorful maxis.
