Greenling Gets Cheesy This June + Giveaway

Online grocer Greenling is celebrating local food this summer with a special opportunity for North Texans to learn about local cheese. A “Cheddar Together” cheese tasting will celebrate local cheesemakers and food artisans. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 5:30­ to 8:30 p.m. at the Franconia Brewery in McKinney. Greenling is proud to offer attendees a curated cheese plate featuring cheeses from Eagle Mountain Farmhouse (Granbury), Veldhuizen (Dublin), Full Quiver (Kemp) and Rosa Family Farm (Leonard). In accordance with Greenling’s mission, everything served will be Certified Organic and/or local and sustainably produced. Event­goers will be able to speak and sample from the cheesemakers, as well as representatives from Empire Baking Company (Dallas), Texas Honeybee Guild (Dallas), In A Pickle Jam (Ft. Worth), Dr. Kracker (Plano), and more!
