Are today’s kids more entitled than in past generations? With our society as a whole putting value on money, image and fame more than inherent principles like self-acceptance, affiliation, and community, why wouldn’t our future generations be narcissistic? I am writing not to complain, but bring a major concern for parents and our nation to light. You know you live in a house full of gamers when you personally know the staff at your local GameStop. As I walk around the game store, I found the Skylanders figures cute. I wasn’t really sure how they were incorporated in a video game, but I noticed that Activision publishes this game, so they probably know what they are doing. Pinypon is huge in Europe, and they are just starting to hit the shelves in the US nationwide at Target & Toys ”R” Us! So, what is Pinypon? They are a whole new world of creative play, featuring collectable, customizable mini dolls, pets, play sets and vehicles. The target ages for Pinypon are girls 4-7 years old. Not only is Pinypon cute and colorful they are reasonably priced from $2.99-$29.99.
