- Whole Foods Market Opens in Addison, TexasWhole Foods Market’s newest area store is surrounded by office workers in high-rise buildings in Addison, Texas. They need to eat lunch and sometimes meet over coffee. Others are getting off Dallas North Tollway at Belt Line Road on their way home to pick up dinner. In any case, Whole Foods Addison has thought through all the needs for their customer. Here are my favorite features: A bulk food department with over 244 grains, beans, cereals, seeds, nuts, and snacks; 30 dried herbs and spices; plus bulk flavored vinegars, local honey and freshly ground nut butters. Gourmet Cheese Shop with 550 varieties of cheese and a Grilled Cheese Bar! A…

- Chamberlain’s Steak Houses Amicable Simplicity in Fine DiningLast month, Chamberlain’s Steak & Chop House celebrated its 20th Anniversary. I was invited by owner Chef Richard Chamberlain for a VIP tasting in honor of their celebration, and what an honor it was. When you walk into Chamberlain’s, you begin to feel nostalgic with the wood panel walls and the low lighting. It has grown since its doors opened 20 years ago with over 5 different private dining rooms and a speakeasy-esque feeling lounge, located in the back of the restaurant. Every time I have dined here, I am always satisfied and amazed how delicious every bite is. Chef Richard Chamberlain knows how to prepare a dish bring out…
