Wildflower! Festival Rocks Richardson Texas + Giveaway

941845_10151579698418485_1192598411_nThe Richardson’s Wildflower Festival is happening this weekend, May 17 – 19, 2013, and it will be THE place for kids and families to rock out while enjoying singing and songwriting competitions, a Kidz Korner and Game Zone. But did you know Sunday, May 19, kids 12 and under get in FREE courtesy of Bank of America? It doesn’t get better than free! Sunday is also half-price day for adults — tickets are only $10 courtesy of Cisco Systems. Check the website for the festival’s 15 for $15 group ticket promotion and for directions to the festival.

The Kidz Korner and Game Havens’ Game Zone will feature free games (complete with cool prizes!) and activities to keep them entertained for hours. They can get their faces painted, climb the rock wall, make bead bracelets, and rock out on their “Rock Star” karaoke stage, participate in a video game tournament and so much more!

The Charlie Daniels Band will headline at Wildflower! on Friday, May 17, with Gretchen Wilson opening. The award-winning, multi-day festival — featuring live music, arts and crafts, children’s activities, interactive exhibits, acrobats, and more. New this year is the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Movie Night on Saturday, May 18, at 9:15 p.m.
