Irving Berlin’s White Christmas The Musical
DECEMBER 5-10, 2017 AT THE MUSIC HALL AT FAIR PARK IN DALLAS Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is in town and how great was it that on the night White Christmas opened North Texas FINALLY got some cold weather?! It was a perfect night to see one of my all-time favorite Christmas musicals and it was a perfect show to launch me into the Holiday Spirit! The musical is an adaptation of a 1954 motion picture White Christmas that starred Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. Everything about this critically acclaimed and old fashioned musical is magical – the music (Irving Berlin’s – need I say more?), the dancing is incredible (go just…

What are you thankful for today?
There is so much to be thankful for – family, friends, good health, prosperity but it’s easy for me to pick what I’m most thankful for today. Today is my twin sons 20th Birthday – on Thanksgiving this year! 20 years today I gave birth to twin nuggets who’s combined weight was a little over 5 lbs. “Wonderstruck” Movie Opens October 27th
Wonderstruck is a truly beautiful film that is based on the imaginative and well crafted novel by Brian Selznick who also created the wonderful “The Invention of Hugo Cabret”. If you’re not familiar with the book, it tells the story through words (Ben’s story) and very detailed and incredible illustrations in place of words (Rose’s story). It’s got so many layers of imagery and meaning that it will have you thinking about the movie for long after you see it! Ben and Rose are children born 50 years apart in different parts of the country and circumstances but their lives become interwined after a series of events that bond…

Carmel-by-the-Sea is Magical
My husband and I recently visited Carmel to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary and it was magical. The meaning of magical is “beautiful or delightful in such a way as to seem removed from everyday life”. This describes Carmel perfectly. Synonyms for the word magical include extraordinary, remarkable incredible, amazing – I think you get the idea. It was a perfect anniversary trip but I guess that shouldn’t be a big surprise though since Carmel has been rated as #3 “Best City for Romance in the World” by Travel Leisure Magazine! Our trip was memorable from start to finish! Carmel-by-the-Sea, called Carmel for short is a small town in Northern California…
