Let’s Talk Turkey with HoneyBaked Ham

Well, it has happened. Somehow it’s already November, and the holidays are right around the corner. Like many of you, I grew up having Honeybaked ham for the holidays, but did you know they sell more than just ham? That’s right, this Thanksgiving you may want to consider putting down that Butterball and heading to your nearest HoneyBaked Ham store for “HoneyBaked’s New Recipe Turkey Breast.” What makes their smoked turkey unique is their delicious signature sweet and crunchy glaze blanketing the turkey. To say it was amazing would be an understatement! My kids couldn’t get enough, and my taste buds were jumping for joy. 😉

HoneyBaked Ham doesn’t just sell meat. They also offer side dishes and desserts to complete your family dinner. My family tied the Green Bean Casserole (a holiday favorite) and the Sweet Potato Souffle (which is will be a favorite for those who have a sweet tooth.) What’s nice about the sides is that they freeze right in the containers, so you can buy ahead and save for your holiday meal. Just heat and serve, AND if you stick it in a different container, no one will know. 😉 We finished our dinner off with the Apple Caramel Walnut Pie, which made our home smell like the holidays. It is such an easy meal and one that is a real crowd pleaser. Also, did you know that their hams and turkeys are gluten-free?

Beyond the holidays, they provide full everyday dinners. If you don’t always have time to cook, you can pick up an entire meal there. HoneyBaked Ham provided you with a $3 off “HoneyBaked’s Roasted or Smoked New Recipe Turkey Breast!” Print your HoneyBaked Ham $3 coupon here, and use through 12/31/12.

Disclosure: HoneyBaked Ham provided me with a turkey dinner to review for purposes of this post. I was not financially compensated for this post, and all opinions here are my own.
