Join me and the Miracle Players Foundation on Saturday, August 24, 2013, from 11AM-3PM at its third annual Peace, Hope & Butterflies family fun and music festival located at Flag Pole Hill Park.

The event will feature terrific music from four up-and-coming Dallas bands and great activities for kids (and the young at heart), including a petting zoo, obstacle course, pirate ship, arts and crafts, giant slide and more. The day will also feature local art vendors, as well as several delicious food trucks. And lastly, the event will culminate in the release of 500 butterflies by Dallas area childhood cancer warriors! All of our butterflies will be released together by Dallas area childhood cancer patients, and the name of whomever your butterfly honors will be displayed at the event.

Miracle Players Foundation raises funds to support childhood cancer research and brightens the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families through in-hospital arts programming and out of hospital opportunities that allow the children to forget about their illness for a time and focus on being kids. 100% of proceeds from Peace, Hope & Butterflies will go directly to funding childhood cancer research at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
