On its 50th birthday, the 2015 Ford Mustang is casted as the hero car for the upcoming DreamWorks Studios and Electronic Arts film “Need for Speed” with its sassy attitude and bold, new look. Special reflective Kona Blue stripes accent the bright custom silver paint job designers gave this special Mustang that audiences will get a chance to see in action when the film is released in March 2014. Mustang has thrilled audiences for many years in feature films and television shows, but the car driven by the film’s star, Aaron Paul (“Breaking Bad”), will be something new to dream about. 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GT Goes Its Own Way
Mitsubishi is holding on to the saving grace of its lineup, the 2014 Lancer. This last couple of weeks, I test drive 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.4L as I drove through rain and snow plus in the city and on the highway. Unfortunately, it was not the all-wheel drive (AWD), which is available on the 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer and much needed in many places around the country, as of late. AWD is perfect for driving in the snow and mud up on the ski mountains. New amenities for the 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer include a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, HD radio and SiriusXM. The Lancer GT comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and rearview…

2014 Kia Soul Urbanizes the Hatchback
When I received the call that Kia wanted me to test drive their 2014 Soul. I wasn’t excited. I actually turned them down earlier in the year. I am not a fan of the box on wheels concept. BUT, when I stepped in the 2014 Kia Soul ! (Exclaim), my thoughts changed. For the 2014 Kia Soul !, they have improved the exterior with a sloping roofline that makes it look from the side somewhat like the way more posh Range Rover. It also is slightly longer, lower and wider, with upgraded interiors, easier entry and exit, more front seat travel for taller drivers and exterior trim changes to distinguish…

2014 Chevy Volt Offers Impressive Features at Lower Cost
Chevrolet is reducing the price you need to pay if you want to “go green” on your wheels. The 2014 Chevy Volt, which offers a combination electric and gasoline-powered drivetrain, will be available for $34,995 this coming model year. That’s $5,000 less than last year, and if you subtract federal tax credits that can range as high as $7,500, the sticker price could go as low as $27,495. Buying a Volt will give you gas-free driving for 38 miles, at which point the car’s 80 horsepower gas engine kicks into gear. However, it doesn’t power the wheels — it simply powers the 149 horsepower electric motor, with some excess going to…
