2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GT Goes Its Own Way

2014 Mitsubishi LancerMitsubishi is holding on to the saving grace of its lineup, the 2014 Lancer. This last couple of weeks, I test drive 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.4L as I drove through rain and snow plus in the city and on the highway. Unfortunately, it was not the all-wheel drive (AWD), which is available on the 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer and much needed in many places around the country, as of late. AWD is perfect for driving in the snow and mud up on the ski mountains.

New amenities for the 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer include a 6.1-inch touchscreen display, HD radio and SiriusXM. The Lancer GT comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and rearview camera as standard, so if you want to buy a Lancer, you definitely should upgrade to the GT 2.4L.
2014 Mitsubishi Lancer GTEven though it has a spoiler, don’t expect sports car-like performance from the Mitsubishi Lancer, but it’s not bad for its class. The overall ride is comfortable enough, but there is extra road noise on the highway. Passenger room is more than adequate, even in the backseat where my kids sat and slept during our holiday road trip, and the trunk offers 12.3 cubic feet of cargo space. It is not huge, but this is a compact. We were able to put a family of 4’s luggage and Christmas gift into the trunk. It was definitely packed, but there were no gifts left behind. 😉
