Birthdays are the most important days of the year! I believe we should always celebrate people’s entry into this world. Today, my “baby” turns 6! He’s a low-key kid, which makes birthday planning fun. All I ask of him is to help me with the theme. Instead of throwing all my money into having a party at an overpriced location, I can have a bunch of kids over. Wait, what?! No don’t panic, it really isn’t that hard or stressful. With the help of Agent P, I am counting down the 6 must have things for a successful birthday party!

1. Always have a fabulous cake! YaYa’s Hand-Made Chocolate Cake doesn’t getting any more awesome.

IMG_1666 3. Have lots of food for kids AND adults! Worried about cooking and cleaning? Cater it from places like Zoes Kitchen that deliver to take the stress out of the planning, and the food is deliciously healthy. This is especially important if your child or their friends have dietary restrictions. Zoes offers gluten-free options!
