The Power of Hervé Léger by Max Azria

The super-sexy designs and signature bandage dresses of Hervé Léger by Max Azria are at the top of every fashionista’s wishlist. I was invited by Neiman Marcus Willow Bend to view their Spring collection showcased by Kim Livek, a Hervé Léger by Max Azria specialist. These dresses are hand stitched and are durable or as she stated “as touch as nails.” The materials responds to your body temperature and forms to accentuate your figure. First, I adore the crafty detail and tribal motif, which create a look of a warrior princess. (Game of Thrones fans, think of a wardrobe fit for a Khaleesi, and you’ve got it.) This picture doesn’t do it justice. You really need to head to Neiman Marcus to see for yourself.

Next, my jaw opened after seeing the ikat-textured jacquard glowed with rose gold, silver, or gold foil (below on the right). On one dress, a zigzag pattern was picked out in a barrelful of seed beads. I love the bondage-inspired details, laced-up cutouts, and subtle ikat prints. If this look is to bold, you can wear the nude bondage dress (below on the left), and you will look naturally stunning!

Finally, my favorite feature of this collection is in the metallic foiling and cut-outs. Subtle slashes and geometric shapes paired with shimmering metallics makes this collection stand out. This silver dress with the body-hugging silhouette will no doubt be a hit on the red carpet.

Finish the look with your favorite “red bottom” heels. Fortunately, the dresses are statement pieces, so minimize your hair and makeup. Let the dress do all the work, and you’ll have all the eyes on you.
