SeaWorld San Antonio’s Just For Kids festival returns for the weekends in April 2013. My family went yesterday, and the Caillou concert was great. My 6 year-old boy really got involved in it. Who knew how much he loved Caillou?! The kids line the stage and interactive with the characters through song and movement.  The target audience is preschool or kindergarten-aged kids. Fortunately, the artists are geared toward children, and they know how to do all the things that kids want to see and hear and do, so even older kids will jump, high-five others, stomp and clap with the music. Here’s the line-up:

When you enter the enter the park, grab a Just for Kids brochure. It’s a bright yellow flyer with a map of all the interactive learning opportunities for your kids. Next, you need a wristband per person to enter the concerts, so get this as soon as you can, as space is limited. SeaWorld’s Just for Kids festival also have other interactive things throughout the park that my kids loved, such as visiting four locations and collect the corresponding cards. My 7 year-old daughter loved this the most as she is naturally curious and loves collecting things. There is also Shamu’s Party Zone, located near the concert venue. This area features a live DJ, games, crafts and character appearances. Also, don’t forget to enjoy Spring into Night at SeaWorld that happens every Saturdays until June 2013. With extended hours, Spring into Night gives you even more SeaWorld fun. Nightly entertainment includes live music and the awesome Shamu Rocks show, laugh out loud at the entertaining Sea Lions LIVE show. Check your SeaWorld map for program times! Catch Just for Kids and Spring into Night before they go away with a Fun Card and come back for a year full of fun when other great seasonal events will be happening!
