Happy Holidays! Cherish Memories with YesVideo + Giveaway
Merry Christmas to you today! For all my Jewish readers, happy belated Hanukkah to you, too! Today, my family wakes up around 7AM in our new pajamas that “the elves” dropped off last night, so that we would look perfect when we opened gifts. Yes, we wait until Christmas morning to open stockings and gifts while the Christmas music is playing and the TV “fireplace” is crackling. ๐
Oh, the anticipation for this special day that comes and goes so quickly. I wish I could just slow down time on this day, as I cherish the wide-eyed look from the first person who wakes up and looks under the tree until the eve when the last person crashes into bed and falls into a deep slumber. I love how every family has different ways that they celebrate the holidays. I love the traditions. I love that people set aside a time to stop and enjoy their family. I love that we give gifts to one another – some big and some small. But, most of all I love that this is the time to LOVE one another. What does the holidays mean to you?
As I have mentioned before, I was selected by YesVideo to be their ambassador what I like to call “Storyteller.” It’s a natural fit as my family loves YesVideo, who doesnโt? They make it easy to transfer your cherished memories into digital copy. Click here to read more about it. It is entertaining to look back over the past decades and relive some of those memories and laugh at ourselves. ๐
To celebrate the holidays, I am giving away a $75 gift certificate to preserve your family memories. I want YOU to win with these easy steps.

When I was a kid we always went to church on Christmas Eve and then couldn’t do presents till the last kid woke up. My brothers still give me grief that I would sleep in. ๐

My favorite tradition as a child; I now do almost everyday I am available / able is – Go to local hospitals and inspire the children and / or retirement-homes and listen to veterans stories. Though I also love to cook, thanks to my family tree, I love to make dishes for the less fortunate. And recently my mother inspired me to give at least one present to another person that might / might not have gotten anything!

My favorite Christmas tradition as a kid was opening one gift on Christmas Eve, playing family games and waiting for Santa to come.
