2013 Lincoln MKZ Provides Comfort for #MKZDateNight
I was looking forward to finally experiencing the new face of American luxury, or “your smarter choice for luxury,” the 2013 Lincoln MKZ through a promotion call #MKZDateNight with Grapevine Lincoln. Quite frankly, I was more impressed than I expected to be. The MKZ is a comfortable, luxury car with most of the ingredients needed to make its mark in the luxury car market. This Lincoln MKZ was loaded with the 102A Reserve Equipment Group that includes the rear-view camera system, navigation and blind-spot monitoring. It also included the Panoramic Moonroof and the Technology Package that sports Adaptive Cruise Control, automated parking assistance and a lane-keeping system. These options add…

2014 Kia Forte Excels at Urban Commutes
I had the honor of test driving the 2014 Forte EX for a week, and it excelled in my expectations. As soon as the Kia Forte drove up on my driveway, I was struck by its sleek design. The overall shape is strongly reminiscent of a Honda Civic. The Forte’s rear seat provides is comfort for my kids and enough legroom for adults. There’s an exceptionally roomy trunk, and the rear seat backs can flop forward to expand that capacity. I had fun customizing the driver’s features. One thing that I immediately noticed was the steering feature that allowed me to vary effort over three presets: Comfort, Normal and Sport. It’s standard on…

2013 GMC Yukon Denali XL Connects with Dallas Community
There’s no better way for someone to get to know a car than to drive it for themselves. It’s even better when you can then pass the keys along to someone else, so they can experience it too. Let me introduce you to the GM Connect program. If you know someone in your community with a network of people curious to try out a new car for the week, recommend them to “Drive the District.” I was recommend by Paige Flink, the executive director of The Family Place. I first met Paige at a celebration party for their annual fundraiser called Partners Card. It is truly one of my favorite 10-days…

2013 Volvo S60 Provides Safe Ride for Small Family
Volvo introduced the world’s first rear-facing child seats, childproof locks and a booster cushion long before governments required them and safety became a vogue slogan. Did you know that Volvo even invented the three-point seatbelt?! The Volvo S60 T5, with standard auto-braking and a class-leading crash score from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, is a competent, impeccably strong car. The overall S60 design is pleasing to the eye. Swedish artistic lines, a low roof line and just the right amount of curves create a sporty, sophisticated look. Clean, simple aesthetics and comfortable seats create a relaxing environment inside this vehicle. All the ingredients for the posh family are there – easy…
