Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving That Taste Like Mom’s Cooking

Restaurants-Open-Thanksgiving-DayArguably the most important meal of the year, the traditional Thanksgiving feast can take days to prepare. Cooks have to spend hours — and hours and days — brining the bird, making stuffing and putting together any number of potato and vegetable side dishes, not to mention baking all that pie. Thankfully, some delicious restaurants all over North Texas are providing their own twist on the Thanksgiving feast.

The Second Floor Bistro – Bar: Enjoy a buffet brimming with delectable favorites like Roasted Prime Rib and Turkey, and array of traditional sides and other Southern specialties, then top off the meal with assorted pies, cakes and fresh fruit desserts at $55 for adults and $25 for children 6-12 and FREE for children 5 & younger. The Westin Galleria Dallas, Level 2; 972-450-2978.

III Forks: Feast on a four-course meal. Choice of Spice Rubbed Turkey, Roasted Midwest Beef Tenderloin or Vermont Maple Glazed Atlantic Salmon with delicious sides; with Tenderloin Tomato Soup, salad, III Fork Salad, dessert, coffee or tea at $44.95 for adults and $16.95 for children under 12. 972-267-1776.
