Luce Photography Lights Up My Family

Do you know the one item I can’t leave home without besides my kids and my purse? It’s my smartphone. With kids, you just never know what adorable thing they are going to do.

I take a lot of photos of the kids, so I can remember these days when they are older. They just grow up so fast. When I look at old photos, I can’t believe how much they’ve changed. You know what I’m not good at? I am not good at getting photos of me with the kids. When we are at events, I am so busy that I hardly ever remember to ask someone to snap a family shot. When I do remember, they are usually posed shots where one or all of us look like we’re in pain.

Recently, I was offered the opportunity to work with Luce Photography. Just one look at their website gives you a glimpse into their abilities, but you don’t truly understand their talent until you work with them. Trusa Patel is a truly professional North Texas family photographer and makes sure she knows a bit about your personality and likes before the session. She gave me tips on what to wear and suggests bringing “props that could fit in your car.” We met up in Southlake at Luce Photography studio where she and her team worked their magic.

When I received the proofs, I couldn’t believe how many awesome photos the Luce team captured. I had to share some more shots…

So here’s the million dollar question? Which one will I blow up for the mantel in the living room? I can’t decide! Which do you like? Check out Luce Photography at www.luce-photography.com.

Disclosure: Luce Photography provided me with a complimentary session and photos from that session for my honest review. No other compensation was received and the opinions are my own. 1. I love the last one where everyone is on their electronic devices. Isn’t that such an accurate portrayal of daily life! Great shots.

  2. Thanks, Cynthia! It is sooo true, which I why I brought the 3DS and our phones as props…not like they weren’t already with us 😉
