Help Homeless One Pound At A Time
It’s a sad fact of modern life that the number of people without a permanent residence to call their own are growing dramatically. According to the National Coalition For The Homeless, children under the age of 18 made up 39% of the population of homeless shelters, and 42% of those kids were younger than five. As stressful as my life gets, I have never worried about where my family was going to sleep. I’m one of the lucky ones. Fortunately, there are organizations like Dallas LIFE. Each year, there is always that person who is hard to buy a gift. I have found that buying an experience is great for anyone versus something they won’t remember next year. 2012 Chevy Traversed to the Posh Side
Confession: I love cars. Actually, I get giddy test driving them, so when Britain Chevrolet approached me to try out one of their vehicles. My curiosity piqued. There is one thing you have to know about me. I will NEVER, yes NEVER, drive a mini-van. Daniel at Britain Chevy had bigger plans – their 8-passenger crossover 2012 Chevrolet Diamond Traverse. The 2012 Chevrolet Traverse is an impressive vehicle. Yes, you heard me right. I was surprised how much I loved this ride. It was very refined and smooth. It soaked up bumps large and small, keeping highway chatter from upsetting the cabin. I averaged 19 mpg on gas mileage. Cargo room distinguishes…
