Facebook Groups Connect and Encourage Bloggers

IMG_5198Adventures in parenthood can sometimes feel like a solo act. Lots of parents have turned to blogging to keep their sanity in check and also share great tips and advice to others. Even though it seems like there are a lot of blogs out there, the reason for blogging can be a little different for each parent. Today marks my sixth year for blogging, and what a journey it has been. Like many, I wrote to a “black hole,” not knowing if anyone else other than my husband read my posts. Then a few years later, brands started “knocking on my doors,” which to this day I feel honored and blessed to experience their products with my family and friends.

What I didn’t expect when I first started blogging was the community of others bloggers that I would build. Starting a blog enabled me to build a network of entrepreneurial women that helps fuel my success and energize my days. There are many networks out there where you can connect with brand to bloggers, but I have found the greatest success and friendships with Facebook Groups. Facebook groups are an absolutely fabulous way to meet other women who inspire and give you the drive to take your blog–and life–to the next level. I have a few groups that I am a member, and they serve different purposes. Some are they to share knowledge, others share opportunities and lastly, there are groups to help share your content. The one thing that all these groups share is that every member wants you to succeed.
BloggersConnect In the current “dog eat dog world” that blogging has become, I encourage you to join a Facebook Group, so that you can see that not every blogger is out there for herself. There are many people out there wanting you to be the best, as it helps the whole blogging community. Good luck on your journey, and please link up below!

YAY in 6 years! That’s awesome, Jennifer!

I couldn’t agree more about facebook groups. Encouraging one another is so VITAL to this world we live in. The bloggers that don’t want to support others aren’t nearly as successful as they may think they are . . . the TRUE rewards come from the friendships.

The “stuff” is awesome and nice but it only last so long. The bonds? Those are forever.

Happy blogiversary! Six years -wow! Couldn’t agree more about the Facebook groups. Those are new to me in the past 6 months and they, and more importantly the people in them, have been really wonderful.

I agree 100%. The number of Facebook groups I’m in are crazy but there’s something new I learn in at least 90% of them. And the support is just phenomenal. I’ve seen how groups have come together to rally for a blogger’s cause on more than one occasion. It’s like our huge online blogging family!

Congratulations on your six year Jennifer! Without blogging, we wouldn’t even know each other. Your support of me, my blog, and my family is invaluable. I too love my Facebook blogger groups, and they are the ONLY reason I still have Facebook. They are the best thing about Facebook, and give bloggers office colleagues to work with, support, and share ideas.

Great post and congratulations on your 6th year! I do agree about Facebook Groups. Having a support group has helped me in a lot of ways – whether receiving advice/tips, getting new connections with brands or boosting traffic. 🙂
